OCO’s 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament

The 21st Annual OCO Golf Tournament was slated for Monday, December 7th at the Mesa Verde Country Club.  In the weeks preceding the tournament, the OCO Golf Tournament committee was worried that there would not be enough golfers.  Tournament Chair, Glenn Tanaka and his committee members sent out emails and followed up to assure that a decent number of golfers would participate in this annual fundraising activity that helps A3M.  Thankfully, as always, people signed up to partake and show support to OCO and A3M. One hundred and sixteen golfers were willing to take a day off to make sure that A3M continues to recruit donors so patients from our communities get a second chance at life.

Hope for Natalie Nakatani

Natalie, a loving 8-year-old daughter, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Leukemia (AML). Natalie was in remission after 5 rounds of chemo, but as of January 19th, her cancer returned. She urgently needs a bone marrow transplant to live. Because of the critical shortage of minority and multi-racial donors, her search is especially difficult.
